"Does anyone know anything about something in the legal system called 'double jeapordy?' An ex-con CANNOT be convicted of the same crime if it is the same victim? Something like that? I'm just curious because it seems as if the justice system in MY town applies "double jeapordy" to many pedophiles. =/ " - djmonkey

thanks, d.

Ahh, I see I see. So my question was if double jeapordy can be implied if the convicted felon commits the same crime with a DIFFERENT victim. But Wikipedia says that the convicted can not be charged for the same crime unless it is a seperate jurisdiction for the same act, which basically means no.
So I guess that explains why the pedophiles in my city are prospering in their acts. Man that really sucks. Remind me to move to a deserted island when I have kids.

This "double jeapordy" legal system is ridiculous when the crime is painfully evident and PROVEN guilty.

Once again, I speak to myself who seems to be my best friend at the moment. hehe fun :)
